Craft club members meet on the first Thursday of each month at Laeta Living Blackstone – 200 Mary St, Blackstone, 4304.
Some of the much-loved creations are used to enhance patients’ hospital stay, including knitted and crocheted lap rugs, clothing for premature babies, trauma teddies, breast care and stroke cushions, chemotherapy headwear, and the list grows by the day!
Children’s toys, blankets, and clothing also make their way to the smaller members in our community via West Moreton Health Community clinic outreach nurses.
Learn something new or share your skills with the group – it is a great way to meet new friends and like-minded people, have a real impact on our community and health service, and do something you are passionate about!
If you are interested in attending the group please contact our dedicated Craft Club Coordinator, Genevieve Jackson on 0428 626 080.
If you’d like to contribute to the craft club but knitting and sewing isn’t your thing, you could consider donating a Spotlight voucher, wool, filler and material.
