Help raise funds for our local community all in the exciting carnival atmosphere that is the Ipswich Show!
The Ipswich Show Society has kindly asked the Foundation to provide volunteers for this year’s Ipswich Show on Friday 14 July, Saturday 15 July, and Sunday 16 July this week.
As a volunteer on the day, you will receive FREE ENTRY to enjoy the show before or after your shift.
Volunteering opportunities
- Gate attendants: Working in pairs to assist at the entry gates as guests and vehicles arrive (Parker Avenue & Salisbury Road).
- Ticket sellers: Working in pairs and with Show Society to sell tickets at the entry gates (Main entrance & Show entrance).
Shifts: 9:00am until 1:30pm and 1:30pm until 6:00pm. You are welcome to sign-up for both morning and afternoon shifts and will be provided with a 1-hour break.
Due to the nature of the Show, Ipswich Show Society is needing volunteers that can be versatile and willing to lend a hand and switch between positions if necessary.
Volunteers will need to have basic technology skills, a happy disposition, and be confident communicating with visitors.
